2. 90-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee on all our standard Web Hosting and Managed Cloud Hosting plans.
- Eligibility: If you are a new customer and are not satisfied with our services, you may request a full refund within the first thirty (30) days of your service activation.
- Process: To claim this refund, you must submit a cancellation request via our Client Area and open a support ticket with the Billing Department.
- Exclusions: This guarantee applies only to the hosting service fees. It does not cover domain registrations, setup fees, or software licenses (see Section 3).
3. Non-Refundable Items
Please note that due to the nature of digital goods and third-party costs, the following items are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Domain Name Registrations/Transfers: Once a domain is registered or transferred, the cost is paid instantly to the domain registry (ICANN). We cannot reverse this transaction. You retain ownership of the domain for the registration period even if you cancel your hosting.
- Software Licenses: Fees for third-party licenses such as cPanel, WHMCS, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, or Windows Server licenses.
- SSL Certificates: Paid SSL certificates are non-refundable once issued.
- Dedicated Servers: Due to the physical setup and provisioning costs involved.
- Setup Fees: Any one-time setup fees or migration fees paid for custom configurations.
4. Payment Method Specifics (bKash & Mobile Banking)
We accept various payment methods, including Credit/Debit cards and Mobile Banking (bKash, Nagad, Rocket).
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds will be issued to the original card used for purchase. Please allow 5-10 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.
- bKash / Mobile Banking:
- Refunds for payments made via bKash or other mobile banking methods will be processed manually.
- Please allow 7-14 business days for mobile banking refunds to be processed.
- Transaction Fees: Any transaction fees charged by the mobile banking provider (e.g., “Cash Out” or “Send Money” fees) during the initial payment or the refund process are non-refundable and may be deducted from the total refund amount.
5. Cancellation Process
To request a refund, you must follow these steps:
- Log in to your HostingGen Client Area.
- Navigate to the service you wish to cancel.
- Click on “Request Cancellation.”
- Open a Billing Support Ticket referencing your cancellation and formally requesting the refund.
Note: Simply cancelling the PayPal subscription or not paying the invoice does not constitute a refund request. You must formally request it via our system.
6. Abuse and Terms of Service Violations
Our refund policy is designed to protect honest customers.
- TOS Violations: If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., hosting phishing sites, sending spam/bulk email, prohibited content, or attacking our infrastructure), you are NOT eligible for a refund, regardless of when the violation occurred.
- Spamming: Accounts terminated for blacklisting our IPs due to spam are not eligible for refunds.
7. Service Interruptions & SLA Credits
In the event of significant server downtime that exceeds our Service Level Agreement (SLA) guarantee, we may provide Service Credits to your account for future use. Service credits are not redeemable for cash refunds.
8. Changes to This Policy
HostingGen reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
